Safety
This sturdy 2-step solid wood mounting block is built by Amish craftsmen, known for making handsome yet rugged furniture. The mounting block is sturdy enough to support two people but light enough to move easily. The top platform is larger than those found on most other mounting blocks for improved stability and safety.
Lasting Beauty
Plum Shade Farm's beautiful wood mounting block is stained and protected with a superior grade weather protection finish for long lasting beauty. Our special coating/stain uses a low VOC preservative with special U.V. absorbing pigments that prevent unsightly wood graying and fading. This protective coating also resists water absorption to stop cracking and contains mildewcides, which inhibit the growth of mold and mildew. The top and steps are made with long oval openings that minimize water collection. Your mounting block will look beautiful for many years and makes the perfect barn warming gift.
Sturdy & Portable
The mounting block is made of solid ash, one of nature's hardest woods. Dove-tail type joinery and stainless steel screws combine for quality, sturdy construction. Curved side openings allow for easy lifting and maneuverability.
