Step 1
Pick out hoof. Brush off loose dirt and wash hoof.

Step 2
Empty contents of Povidone Iodine bottle into a bucket containing
1 gallon of very warm water.
Step 3
Soak hoof for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Place white cushioning band around horse's coronary band, seam side out,
away from horse's leg.
Step 5
Lift horse's hoof and place ESP pac on bottom of hoof.
Step 6
While holding ESP pac on bottom of hoof, place hoof in heavy duty barrier bag.
Fold down top of bag about 2 inches.
Step 7
Secure barrier bag using cohesive flexible bandage. Start bandage around
coronary band, wrapping from coronary band to heel and then once around
toe area being sure to get some bandage on bottom of hoof. (use approx. ½ roll)
DO NOT wrap tightly around coronary band.
Step 8
Place hoof in padded boot making sure ESP pac is on bottom of hoof.
Fasten velcro closures making certain boot is secure, but not too tight.
Note: the ESP pac is expected to split open once in use.
Step 9
Fill syringe with 12 ccs warm water. Insert syringe into barrier bag on the inside
of the horse's ankle and inject water down to ESP pac. Repeat this process on the other
side of the horse's ankle.
 Rehydrate with 12 ccs of warm water once a day.
CAUTION:   
 Horses should not be turned out while wearing boot.
 Consult your veterinarian or farrier and follow their advice for treatment.
