The HOOFix High-Density Pad cushions the hoof and provides unsurpassed shock absorption. We use a full 3/4 of an inch of high performance cellular foam, the same foam that is used in Nascar Race Cars. In addition to unsurpassed abrasion and compression set properties, HOOFix hybrid foam hoof pads deliver damping on impact to provide exceptional cushion and high resiliency for energy return to assist in breakover. Unlike open cell systems used in other horse hoof pads, HOOFix Pads will not readily absorb moisture. They are durable and highly abrasion resistant.

The HOOFix High-Density Pad never 'bottoms out', so your horse gets continuous support and protection. When the hoof is on the ground, our hoof pads only partially compress (so they still provide support) and rebound or unload when the horse lifts its foot to ensure continuous shock absorption and comfort. Arthritic horses and horses with tender soles will experience immediate relief.
