The HOOFix Emergency Trail boot is a must have "spare tire" hoof boot that helps protect your horse's hoof when you're riding and lose a shoe.  These hoof boots are easy to put on and take off, and STAY ON during the ride...walk, trot, canter or jump...dry ground, mud, or water.  They provide solid traction. The bottom of the hoof boot incorporates ground tires for slip resistance.  Our hoof boots are extremely lightweight (less than 5 oz.) and very compact so they're easy to carry.  Unlike other trail boots, the HOOFix Emergency Trail Boot is made of a soft, yet strong fabric that conforms to the horse's hoof (Caution: sharp rocks may cut the boot sole.)  These breathable fabric hoof boots eliminate the rubbing problem on the coronary band or heel bulb caused by many other boots.
