Convenient
Poultice bags / soak bags are heavy duty (8 mils thick) disposable bags for less mess and convenience. Disposable bags are the ideal way to soak a hoof or keep poultice on.
Effective
These poultice / soak bags are designed for hoof treatments to keep medication moist and on the hoof, and keep dirt and debris out. Bags meet FDA and USDA specifications for food contact. Bags work best when combined with the HOOFix Slipper Sock or the HOOFix Emergency Boot, but can be used alone.
Gel Poultice or Medication - Place poultice or medication on hoof. Place hoof in poultice bag. Wrap cohesive flexible bandage around pastern to keep bag on hoof.
Soak - Place Epsom Salt or other soak medication in bag. Place bag on hoof. Add water as needed. Wrap cohesive flexible bandage around pastern to keep bag on hoof.
